My name is Karen Voelkening-Behegan. I'm a mother of 2, and a health and wellness entrepreneur, nutritional therapy practitioner, geographer, linguist, amateur singer, and nature lover.

I am the founding leader of the Pasadena CA Chapter of the Weston A. Price Foundation, a non-profit organization devoted to education and activism in food, farming, and the healing arts. In May 2019, I completed my certification as a CPT (Certified Personal Trainer) with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and in December 2019, I completed my certification as a Pilates instructor! While good nutrition is one of the foundations of health and happiness, its beneficial effects can be enormously enhanced by a healthy lifestyle that includes not only adequate hydration, restful sleep, purposeful work, and plenty of time for fun, relaxation & spiritual fulfillment, but also regular exercise! Personal Training and Pilates workouts both support better strength, flexibility, posture, balance, agility, and a strong Mind-Body-Spirit connection !
