From an In-Law
My son and I both sought Karen’s help for different reasons. We both learned a lot and made big improvements in our health. Karen taught my son the GAPS diet and it really helped him, both physically and mentally. My son and I both highly recommend working with Karen.

From a Working Mother & Caretaker
This testimonial is a translation from Spanish: I like working with Karen because she speaks Spanish and teaches me a lot. In January 2013 my husband came down with a severe earache, only to be diagnosed with a vascular growth in his brain that needed to be removed and repaired over the course of 3 surgeries. Upon his 3rd brain surgery in February 2014, he suffered a deep coma, which lasted 2 months. He lingered in the hospital and other care centers for months and his recovery went very slowly, even with physical therapy. He didn’t regain full consciousness until September 2014, and when he finally woke up, he couldn’t do anything for himself. He had to relearn everything, from swallowing to speaking, to eating, to using his arms, legs, and hands. The doctors said he would probably never walk again. He was moved to a convalescent facility and remained on a feeding tube receiving nourishment from a liquid mixture of synthetic nutrients since he could not chew or swallow. Finally in October 2014 he was sent home barely speaking, and still unable to walk, transfer himself, or feed himself. There was nothing more the doctors could do, except offer him physical therapy.
So as soon as I got him home, I took Karen’s advice and started adding real foods in liquid form and pulverized real food supplements to his feeding tube. Karen recommended specific nutrients to strengthen his body and provide neurological repair. Lo and behold, within his first week of nutritional therapy, my husband’s healing accelerated and he began regaining abilities that the doctors thought he’d lost forever. Right away, his speech got better, his eye movements coordinated, the phlegm around his feeding tube decreased, and the color of his face improved. The doctors and therapists were impressed. A few weeks later, he was moving better with improved concentration, balance, speech, and fine motor skills. Soon he was walking again with assistance, and within a couple months he could walk on his own. His progress has been amazing. It is now March 2016, and my husband is walking, talking, and taking care of himself. The last skill he is relearning is how to eat. He has made so much progress that now we are getting ready to remove his feeding tube. Soon he will be totally independent once again. As his main caretaker, I can attest that ever since adding nutritional therapy to his regime, my husband has made enormous progress in his healing, exceeding all the doctors’ expectations. He is practically back to his old self again. Thank you, Karen, for all your help. I have become a true believer in the power of nutrition and Real Food Therapy!

From a Medical Professional
Hi Karen! How are you?! I have got to tell you something. [As a highly accomplished Critical Care Technician & Medical Assistant who has worked in many medical settings, and is now training to be an RN,] You are the top, #1 most influential contributor to my nutritional knowledge database. I talk about things I learned from you all the time! I'm so grateful for having known you through your journey in nutritional studies. Thank you.

From A Retired Art Director
Before I was referred to Karen by one of my doctors, I was really struggling to know what direction I should go to improve my health. Karen interviewed me thoroughly and educated me every step of the way. She was very clear about what tests she thought I should take and what diet would benefit me. She also designed a supplement regimen, keeping in mind my budget. I found her to be especially bright and an overachiever. As far as I can tell she has a photographic memory, and speaks five languages. She was a breath of fresh air. I really trust her judgment. The direction is all laid out for me to follow. I still have a ways to go, but oh boy, do I feel better! Sincerely,

From a Sibling
Karen has had an enormous influence on the diet and health of both myself and my family. As one of her first clients in 2011, she taught me things about the power of food and digestion that I never knew. I worked with her for 6 months, and during that time, my digestive symptoms got better, my stress level went down, I lost weight, and my energy improved. All I had to do was follow her simple nutritional therapy protocol. Now 4 years later, after sharing what I learned with my wife and teenage daughters, I’ve noticed that whenever we follow her advice, we always see major improvements in our health and well-being. As long as we stick with a Real Food lifestyle, the stress goes down and the harmony goes up. I have become a true believer in the healing power of natural, organic foods with appropriate supplementation, so much so that I am founding my own company based on medicinal edibles.
